2011 DUB Edition Mustang is one cool ride

The 2011 DUB Edition Mustang looks like one cool ride. Ford has teamed up with DUB magazine and Roush Industries to come up with a Mustang that will attract the hip hop generation. From what I can see with the Roush Industries , Pirelli tires and the Roush quarter window louvers and windshield banner they’re off to a good start.

From Detroit News.com:

Ford Motor Co. has created a new version of the Mustang designed to appeal to the hip-hop generation: the 2011 DUB Edition.

Developed in cooperation with lifestyle magazine DUB and Roush Industries, the customized V-6 version will be offered as a coupe, convertible or with a glass roof.

“The Ford Mustang is the most customized vehicle in the world, and this collaboration pushes the boundaries even further,” said Fritz Wilke, Mustang brand manager. “We’re proud of our relationship with DUB and Roush and how they worked together to bring a new look to Mustang, helping the 2011 DUB Edition Mustang V-6 appeal to a whole new audience.”

Auto Refinance Can Spell Peace of Mind

Let’s face it, everyone seems to be strapped for cash these days. And making ends meet, especially at the end of the month when the bill due dates come one right after another, can be pretty hard sometimes. Many people are finding ways to do without the extras and put off big ticket items for times when the financial skies look a bit sunnier. One thing that is very hard to do without, however, is a vehicle.

For many people, their vehicle is their livelihood. It is what allows them to go to work every day, not to mention run important errands and ferry family members to and from appointments. One way to save money while maintaining your necessary vehicle is to consider an auto refinance program.

An auto refinance program can help you to reduce your monthly payment on your vehicle. If you are approved for such a program, this can help you to reduce your monthly payments in a way that will make a difference in how tight your finances are at the end of each month.

Another great thing about an auto refinance program is that you can also apply for a cash payout. This means that, if you qualify, you can reduce your monthly payment and get cash up front from your lender. This can be a very useful tool for helping to pay off other bills or to pay for one of the big ticket items that you’ve been putting off, like important home repairs.

Bu using an auto refinance program, you can gain some peace of mind and sleep a little bit easier every night, even the nights at the end of the month. Check into an auto refinance program by using an online calculator that can give you an idea of how much money you can save and what kinds of cash payouts you can receive.

Would You Pay $20,000 Or More for a 2011 Ford Fiesta?

With the 2011 Ford Fiesta soon hitting the market here in the U.S. customers will take alot into consideration when deciding on this car. Motor Trend is asking it’s readers a question on price that will be asked all over the states in a few months. Would you pay $20,000 or more for a 2011 Ford Fiesta? Ford should take a hard look at the answers as well because they will be fielding these questions at their dealerships real soon. The Fiesta has been a homerun around the globe with the North American market finally getting their Fiesta so I see no reason why it won’t sell well here but pricing is always an issue. The stylish looks and 40mpg on the highway will get customers in the showroom and on board for a test drive but will the higher than normal price for a small car scare them off? Nobody knows the answer until the rubber hits the road!

From MotorTrend.com:

If you haven’t seen it already, take a look at our First Test of the new 2011 Ford Fiesta. That’s right, we’ve already got a pair of Fiestas in our garage and we’ve got a complete set of numbers on them. The number everyone seems most interested in, though, is the hefty-looking price tag, so let’s take a closer look at that.

As noted, we have two Fiestas in our garage at the moment, a Lime Squeeze Green five-speed manual and a Yellow Blaze six-speed dual-clutch automatic. Both are five-door hatchbacks and decked-out in the top-shelf SES trim package. Both run zero to 60mph in 9.5 seconds and post the best handling, stopping and fuel economy numbers in their class despite being the heaviest and slowest in a straight line.

Chevrolet Orlando To Be Sold In Europe, Asia, Canada Only

News flash! Another dumb idea from GM! The brain trust at GM have apparently decided against selling the all new Chevy Orlando in the U.S. because they want to focus on “other” Chevy products??? OK, So GM is calling this new stylish and sensible vehicle a “minivan” and guess what? 1.) GM/Chevy have no minivan for sale in the U.S. 2.) GM/Chevy have no other vehicle with 3 rows that compares to the Orlando 3.) With gas prices likely to rise soon the Orlando (which is off the same platform as the Volt and Cruze will get close to 35mpg on the highway) would be a home run in the U.S.

Oh well, I guess GM/Chevy are happy with losing market share to other companies like Ford and Hyundai so keep one of the better new products to come out of their stable in awhile and sell it basically everywhere but the U.S.

From AutoGuide.com:

The Chevrolet Orlando crossover will not be sold in the United States after all. In an interview with Bloomberg, Margaret Brooks, GM’s product marketing director for small cars and crossovers said that “The best thing to do for Chevrolet is to focus on the brands we’ve already brought to market: the Traverse, Equinox, Malibu and, soon to come, the Cruze.”

Chinese automaker to open headquarters in L.A.

Here comes Warren Buffet and his Chinese BYD to sunny L.A.! Mr. Buffett and his investment in BYD autos which manufacture electric and hybrid vehicles have chosen Los Angeles as their North American Headquarters mainly because of the green policies already in place and with more to come. What will the N.A. auto industry look like in 10 years is anyone’s guess!

From Money.CNN.com:

NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) — Chinese automaker BYD said Friday it has chosen sunny Los Angeles as the site of its North American headquarters.

BYD, a manufacturer of electric and hybrid vehicles backed by investor Warren Buffett, said it was lured by L.A.’s green energy policies, such as incentives for zero emission vehicles and solar roofs.

“California’s market-friendly energy and environmental policies are playing a vital role not only in making California more energy secure but also in bringing companies like BYD to our state,” said Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger on Friday during an announcement at L.A.’s City Hall.
