Game On in Dallas

Bullz-Eye arrived in Dallas Saturday morning to sunshine and a warm welcome from our fellow bloggers from the “Game On” Blogger road trip to the Big Game. We were stopped in our tracks Friday night in Ennis, Texas due to icy roads but the final 30 miles into Dallas were smooth and filled with anticipation. The Chrysler 200 delivered all the way for our 4th and final leg of the Drive to Dallas and we’re optimistic about the future of this new mid-sized sedan from Chrysler.

We’re seeing bulls everywhere we go in Dallas so we feel right at home (check out the photos above). Today we’ll be heading to a house in eyesight of Cowboys Stadium for a day-long tailgating event with the whole Chrysler 200 road trip team. Everyone had their own time in the 2011 Chrysler 200 during their leg of the trip with different obstacles and challenges to overcome, including some of the coldest winter weather of the season thus far! Now it all hits the top of the mountain with the Big Game tonight and we’re going to be a part of history.

Ferrari FF ‘Fast Four’ New Photos, More AWD Winter Testing Shots

You know the world is becoming a better place when Ferarri’s new flagship will sport AWD!

From AutoGuide.com:

Ferrari has once again released a smattering of photos of its new flagship, known tentatively as the FF or Fast Four. The name of course is a reference to the fact that this is the Prancing Horse’s first-ever AWD-equipped car.

The successor to the 612 Scagliettei, the FF maintains seating for four and even offers genuine cargo room thanks to the almost wagon-like design.

But enough about practicality, the FF also gets a direct-injection 6.3-liter V12 engine with 651-hp and 504 ft lbs of torque, enabling a 0-62 mph time of just 3.7 seconds.

But that’s not all, with the FF promising improved fuel economy and reduced emissions thanks to the company’s HELE (High Emotion Low Emission) system that cut emissions by 23 percent in the California HELE Concept.

Ferrari will release additional information at the car’s world premiere at the upcoming Geneva Auto Show in March. Until then, check out the full gallery below and see AutoGuide’s 2011 Geneva Auto Show preview here.

Starting the road trip to Dallas with the Chrysler 200

After a fun night hitting some of the legendary establishments in New Orleans, Bullz-Eye hit the road Thursday morning as part of the Game On Drive to Dallas for the Big Game. The morning started with some filming and logistical set up and we were ready to go. We left New Orleans around 9am for Houston in our 2011 Chrysler 200 with another media team in tow with Brad from SportsGrid.com and Heather from ILoveSportsGirl.com in the second car and we were rollin’ down Interstate 10 our new friends! The weather was of course cold and wet but that didn’t damper the excitement of driving the new Chrysler 200 en route to Dallas.

We were very impressed with the vehicle. The interior of the new 200 was very comfortable and stylish with plush leather seats with exposed stitching and an elegant but practical dashboard. All of the controls were easy to use as we enjoyed the satellite radio while using the GPS. The V6 had some kick to it and that made the ride fun, and the car handled great on the wet roads.

Audacity for the DJ in You

Not everyone who enjoys creating their own mixed music sounds is a full-fledged DJ. On the other hand, you don’t always have to be stuck with the versions that Ares Galaxy provides for you. Often even the most simple ideas can be enhanced by using the cool options that the Audacity download provides. So what exactly could you use it for?

Make Grandma a mixed audio birthday greeting that includes your voice, singing one of her favorite oldies
Create your own wild and wacky ringtones instead of paying a company who may have used Audacity to make theirs anyway
Create your own party tunes so that when party time arrives, you aren’t stuck in the DJ booth while everyone else enjoys your hard work, and musical talents
Being a DJ means you have to do anything and everything you can to avoid dead air. Use Audacity to remove those dead spots and keep the party jumping
You can take a pre-recorded live version of any song and remove the cheers, screams, and other unrelated noise to create your own sound booth sounding audio
Create your own listen-while-you-wait tune for your cell phone callers
That isn’t all you can do with Audacity. As a DJ, if you are trying to advertise yourself and your skills in hopes of attaining a higher paying or more enjoyable position, try creating your own DJ demo tape with Audacity. The filter options and settings will give even an extremely novice user the help and skills they need to create audio masterpieces that sound straight out of Hollywood.

In addition, do not forget all of the options Audacity offers. Who is to say that you can’t be the next most skilled DJ of the year? Perhaps even create your own original mix that could be the next top hit. Need another idea? Try creating video game music. There is a hot industry that allows for everyday users to submit original soundtracks to include in up and coming video games.

Audi News.com announced that Audi’s January sales in the U.S. increased 20%, which set another monthly record.

The strong January 2011 results followed the best year that the luxury brand has seen in the U.S. as sales surpassed 100,000 for the first time to finish the full year at 101,629 vehicles. The 8.6% share that Audi held in overall U.S. imported luxury vehicle sales at the end of 2010 also set a record for the brand.

Audi models have already earned significant awards in the U.S., including the Edmunds.com Technology Breakthrough Award to the 2011 Audi A8, four category winners in the Strategic Vision 2010 Total Value Index and the EyesOn Design “Best Production Vehicle” awarded to the Audi A6, which is scheduled to arrive this Fall.
