It’s about time that Alfa Romeo returns to the U.S.

A sterling preview of Alfa Romeo’s return to the North American market. This is going to be fun!

From the Wall Street Journal:

I’m steaming northeast toward the Alps in a white Alfa Romeo Giulietta, a lovely bit of car-building falconry destined for the U.S. in 2014, if all hews to plan. It is, to put it up front, a wonderful car, with a hyper-efficient 1.4-liter, 170-horsepower turbocharged engine bolted to a slick six-speed manual transmission; an electronic limited-slip differential between the front wheels; utterly purr-fect steering feel for a front-drive car; a fuel-saving stop-start system; and Alfa Romeo’s three-stage chassis dynamics software—the DNA system—which gradually turns up the wick on the throttle, steering, torque-vectoring and braking response, while dialing down the nannying stability control. The whole is wrapped in a close-curried, stub-nosed Alfa stile that puts a pithing cane in the notion that hatchbacks are boring. This thing is about as generic as the .25 Beretta you keep in your boot.

2011 Suzuki Kizashi SLS Sport review

A Bullz-Eye.com staff member breaks down the 2011 Suzuki Kizashi SLS Sport in his latest review.

The 2011 Suzuki Kizashi Sport SLS might not be as well known as some of the other nameplates in the marketplace, which for some folks is a welcome change. If you’re someone who likes to stand out and do your own thing, the Kizashi just might be the car for you.

Exterior
The first thing I noticed on our 2011 Suzuki Kizashi Sport SLS was how refined and upscale this Azure Gray Metallic car was. The 2011 model year is only the second copy of the Kizashi but I can tell you that Suzuki did their homework when designing the exterior of this sporty ride. The Kizashi Sport has a muscular front fascia and lower grille lower body side moldings with chrome accents, custom lightweight 18-inch alloy wheels and a trunk mounted spoiler. The overall stance of the Sport model has been lowered by 10mm which enhances the Kizashi’s handling and gives it that genuine sports sedan look.

Interior
The interior of the 2011 Suzuki Kizashi Sport SLS felt like it belonged to a much higher priced vehicle. Our test model included push button ignition, 10-way power driver seat with memory, dual zone auto climate control, 425W Rockford Fosgate CD Audio with booming 10 speakers, iPod and MP3 USB Port. The Kizashi also had Bluetooth hands free calling, a leather steering wheel, power moon roof and heated mirrors. I also want to mention the upscale black appointed leather seats as they were some of the most comfortable and stylish seats I have seen in a vehicle with a 20k sticker price. Suzuki used the same leather to accent the door panels. That’s a detail normally used in much more expensive sedans than the Kizashi Sport. The dashboard is sleek with a very clean center stack, featuring quality dials and buttons that also give that feel of “affordable luxury”.

2011 Volvo S60 T6 Review

Bullz-Eye.com reviewed the 2011 Volvo S60 T6!

The 2011 Volvo S60 T6 AWD is one of the first releases from the revamped Volvo under Geely. If the S60 is a sign of what’s to come, we’re anxious to see what Volvo has in the pipeline.

Exterior
The new 2011 Volvo S60 T6 AWD sedan is one sharp vehicle. Our test model was wine red with sporty 18″ alloy wheels and all season tires. The design of the 2011 Volvo S60 is very curvy but hardly edgy. Volvo apparently gave its engineers and designers the chance to explore and with that they developed a refined and confident S60 for the 21st century. The S60 is sharp, but it doesn’t scream for attention with gimmicks. Rather, the car grows on you daily with understated aerodynamic muscular design and looks.

Interior
Volvo is known for safety innovation but over the past few years it seems like their interiors are receiving as much attention, if not more. The soft, black leather sport seats in the front and rear were some of the most comfortable seats I have experienced in any car I’ve driven as of late. The dashboard is crisp and precise without clutter and the center console is tilted slightly towards the driver for better views and execution. Our model had a 7-inch color LCD monitor, 8-way power driver seat, a thick and sturdy leather sport steering wheel, dual zone electronic climate control and Bluetooth hands free interface. The interior also has luxury details like its leather trimmed door panels and the high performance Volvo Premium Sound System with Dolby Pro. Going into spring in Ohio I was able to enjoy the power moon roof on some decent days.

2011 Ford Explorer Limted Review

Bullz-Eye.com reviews the 2011 Ford Explorer Limited.

The 2011 Ford Explorer is the newest beast from the Mullaly stable. Bullz-Eye.com had the chance to test drive this iconic namesake in a totally different package. The SUV segment has been playing to the crossover crowd, a trend the 2011 Ford Explorer follows with no apologies. The Ingot silver metallic looked sharp and confident and had us anxious to drive the new Explorer!

Exterior
When I first took a look at the 2011 Ford Explorer it was obvious this would be a new beginning for a familiar name. The model I drove was an Explorer Limited 4WD with fog lamps, privacy glass in the 2nd and 3rd rows, dual chromed exhaust tips, roof rack side rails 20″ painted aluminum wheels and LED tail lamps. There are more than a few similarities between the 2011 Ford Explorer and the 2011 Ford Edge and I found myself doing a double take when I spotted either of the vehicles on the road. Basically both have a sleek and modern look and are both eye catching. Ford has been building the Explorer since 1991 but has not made fundamental changes to the exterior in any of the previous redesigns. The body is a few inches longer than the prior model but with the sleek new styling I don’t thing anyone will notice without breaking out a tape measure. This look is the look the Ford Freestyle should have achieved a few years back.
