Chevy cuts production of 2021 Corvette C8 due to parts shortage
Parts shortages are forcing Chevy to cut production of the 2021 Corvette in order to prevent any delay in the production of the 2022 model year. This shortage was unplanned and not related to the semiconductor shortage plaguing the auto industry. They are not planning on cancelling any orders that were accepted prior to the announcement.
