The first reason was how disorganized Cash clunkers was laid out in the first place. 2nd there are thousands of dealerships who will not be getting money back ( i first hand know 3 different dealers who are out hundred plus thousand). Not to mention the dealerships who were to nervous to participate (with good reason) lost out on lots of sales. In my eyes the government could have handled it alot better. Good idea? 100%. Poorly executed/ government scam on dealerships? 100% I really disagree with this article for a number of reasons. I'm glad the automotive companies got a bit of a boost with the program. Over at the <a> InsWeb Blog </a>, we covered the Cash for Clunkers program extensively, including how much more drivers will pay to insure a newer vehicle.
